Dr. Kaza graduated medical school at the age of 21. She always excelled in all of her classes both in high school and college. she was admitted to Guntur Medical College on the basis her ranking with full scholarship. she was a Gold Medalist in medical college and was a Best Out Going Student of her Batch. She came to America from India in 1971 to complete her post graduate medical training at Wilmington Medical center [Christiana Medical Center} in Wilmington, Delaware. She completed her Pediatric Residency in 1975.She successfully completed her Pediatric Boards in 98 percentile and later obtained her Fellow (FAAP) in American Academy of Pediatrics. She joined in 1975 Dover Air Force to serve as a pediatric physician. She was awarded several medals for being the Best Physician at the US Air Force Base in Dover, Delaware
Dr. Kaza opened her own practice after completing her term at Dover Air Force Base in 1978 , where she continues to serve the families of Delaware to the present day. She has kept her passion for pediatric care throughout all of her years of work, and looks forward to every new day she gets to spend with her patients.
Being on call for her patients 24/7 has always been a priority for Dr. Kaza. She strives to provide the critical information families need when they need it, answering each phone call already having knowledge of each individual family's history so as to take the most appropriate steps to ensure the most optimal care.
Teresa is a Delaware native, born and raised in Wilmington, DE.
She received her undergraduate degree in Biology and Spanish-Political Science at University of Delaware. She then went on to obtain her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Arcadia University.
She has always had an enthusiam for working with children and an interest in pediatrics. She comes from a very large family and spent time volunteering at A.I. duPont Hospital for Children prior to becoming a physician assistant. She has felt very fortunate to work with Dr. Kaza since 2011 and to be a part of watching all the patients growing. She is especially interested in nutrition and helping establish a healthy lifestyle.
Outside the office, Teresa enjoys being active, spending time with family, cooking and traveling. She and her husband recently welcomed a sweet baby girl into their family.
Dr. Jeya was born and raised in India. She earned her medical degree from the renowned PSG Institute of Medical Sciences, India. Upon graduation, her strong passion for promoting and advocating child healthcare, made her pursue postgraduate training in pediatrics from Madras Medical College, Chennai, India.
Following her post-graduate training, she worked six years (2008-2014) in various settings including pediatric emergency room, general pediatric practice and neonatology.
After moving to US in 2014, she completed her pediatric residency from Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She is a member of the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association. She is well versed in all aspects of pediatric care from newborn to eighteen years of age.
She is dedicated to providing comprehensive pediatric care delivered with compassion, respect and true affection for children and their families. Her pediatric interests include preventive medicine, newborn care and asthma. She is proficient in English, Tamil and can converse in Hindi and Spanish languages.
Dr. Jeya lives in Dover and in her free time, she enjoys painting, gardening, exploring new places and spending time with her little princess!
